About Brian:

Brian grew up in Schoolcraft, Michigan and graduated from WMU in 1992 with a major in Public History and Military Science. From there he went to the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan and graduated in 1997. He was admitted to the Florida Bar the same year and worked in Tampa, Florida before joining the US Coast Guard as a JAG officer in 2000.

While in the US Coast Guard, Brian was stationed in Miami and tried courts martial cases in Miami, Key West, St. Petersburg and Puerto Rico. He also assisted the US Attorney's offices for in the Southern District of Florida, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico as well as assisted the prosecutors of Jamaica and The Bahamas in a variety of human and narcotic trafficking cases.

Brian was admitted to the Michigan Bar in 2003 and opened his office in Schoolcraft, Michigan. He has taught Business Law and Small Business Management at KVCC. He is married and has four children and spends most of his non-work time with his kids; either coaching, camping or fishing.

Brian is committed to providing down to earth, practical legal advice and enjoys an informal, small office setting.
